The tie rod connects the steering wheel with a rods and connectors system, so that the driver’s choice to change direction is transferred to the wheels smoothly and safely. The length of the connectors and the rods can be adjusted in such a way that the wheels are aligned. There are different connections to the steering systems depending on the vehicle manufacturer.
